Physical Symptoms Of Skin Cancer

Skin cancer occurs when the cells in your skin are broken. One in five Americans get into life with skin cancer. People with a slight skin color are at greater risk of developing skin cancer than people with a dark skin color.

There are several types of skin cancer:
  • Basal cell carcinoma ; This is the most common, but least dangerous form of skin cancer. A basal cell carcinoma almost never expires and grows slowly. This form of skin cancer is the result of the cells that constantly create the creation of new skin cells.
  • Pancreatic carcinoma ; This carcinoma arises from the cells that are closer to the skin surface than the basal cells. It is the layer of cells that sit between the basal and visible skin. In 16% of the cases there is squamous cell carcinoma. This form is more malignant than a basal cell carcinoma.
  • Melanoma ; Melanoma is diagnosed in about eleven percent of cases of skin cancer. This is the most malignant form of skin cancer. Fortunately, it is also the least common form. A melanoma is formed from melanocytes, these are the cells in the skin that create skin pigments. Usually a melanoma develops from a mother's area, but this does not necessarily have to be the case.
  • Merkel cell carcinoma ; This is a rare form of skin cancer. Merkel cell carcinoma arises from the epidermis of the epidermis.
Skin cancer causes

In the vast majority of cases, skin cancer is caused by too much exposure to UV radiation, for example by excessive sunbathing. However, the sun is not the only source of UV radiation. UV radiation also comes from a tanning bed or a high altitude sun. In particular, exposure to UV radiation in your childhood and regularly burning increase the risk of skin cancer.

In addition, skin cancer can also be hereditary. People with a reduced immune system, for example through the use of medicines or illness, also have a greater chance of developing skin cancer (especially squamous cell carcinoma).
